Do continuous spells need to be on the field to resolve?
In general, cards do not need to remain face-up on the field to resolve their effects. The exception is Continuous/Equip/Field Spell/Trap cards – these always need to remain face-up on the field for their effects to resolve/be applied.
What does not affected by card effects?
Being unaffected by card effects (monster, spell, trap or all of them) means that those cards will ignore all matching effects that would otherwise apply to them. The key word here is “ignore”.
Can you activate continuous spells on opponents turn?
Yes, you can set Spell Cards and use them on the very same turn. You CANNOT use a Quick-Play Spell card the same turn it is Set. And Quick-Play Spell cards can be used from the Hand during your Turn, but cannot be used during your Opponent’s Turn, unless it is Set on your side of the field, during your Opponent’s Turn.
What happens if you negate the activation of a field spell?
If the activation of a Spell or Trap Card is negated, that card is sent to the Graveyard after the entire Chain it was activated in resolves if it has not already been moved somewhere, but it is not treated as being sent from the field.
Can Mystical Space Typhoon negate?
“Mystical Space Typhoon” and “Dust Tornado” do not negate the effects of cards they destroy. However the effects of Continuous and Equip Cards need to remain on the field to resolve, so their effects are not applied if they are destroyed.
What happens when a continuous card is destroyed?
If such a card is activated and is destroyed by a card, its effect still resolves and the card used to destroy it is essentially wasted. Continuous, Field, or Equip Spell Card, or Continuous Trap Card do not work in the same manner as other spells and traps.

Can a continuous trap card be removed from the field?
Continuous, Field, or Equip Spell Card, or Continuous Trap Card do not work in the same manner as other spells and traps. The continuous effects and other effects on these cards that are supposed to be applied during the resolving of these cards will not apply if these cards are removed from the field before resolving.
